Thanks for the comment. It is good to hear positive feedback, and this came at the right time as I was seriously contemplating not doing it again.

though to end on a sad note, those dang Twins definitely need to learn how to win when they were leading the division.

I hope to see you back on the circuit next season. You're a strong writer with some great insight. I'm crossing my fingers for the Twins tonight.

Kyle Lohse - talk about a guy who is pitching for a contract. He'll get paid much the way Esteban Loaiza got paid after 2003, and then rediscover his shortcomings the next season, much like Loaiza.

I like the new addition. With so much young talent in the game today, it's tough to keep up with all the new faces on the scene. I'm looking forward to reading about all the "unknowns" on your future posts.

College power doesn't always translate due to the aluminum bats and the quality of pitching too. You can scout a swing, and physical traits of a college position player (plate discipline, conditioning, and strength), but sometime that aluminum bat hides some of the hitters flaws. But yes I would agree with you about his power, but if you can have 10 homers and 75 runs, 60ish RBIs and a 300 average from you shortstop that you could get late in the draft, or even as waiver wire fodder, I think you are doing pretty good.

Nice catch Mark, and sorry for the misspell, I should I read that one over again. It was my last one that night (I write at night after the games are done).

He will get you runs, average, and a few stolen bases. Now if you have a bottom of the rung shortstop, he is an improvement. I never said he had power, but I should have clarified what I meant by legit (aka worth the pickup in this instance).
